Thousands of people rallied together a day before the third anniversary of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, demanding peace and Europe’s support.
The event was organized by the non-profit organization Promote Ukraine, which advocates for Ukrainian refugees. Its founder, Marta Barandiy, said that these events are still necessary because they reinforce Ukraine’s defense of international law. During the demonstration, many activists spoke in solidarity.
Both Ukrainian and international demonstrators held signs demanding peace and Europe’s support. To celebrate their culture, protesters brought national dishes and wore traditional costumes.
